The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has opened the application for the applicants for filling the positions of Group I through examination. The vacancies allotted to this latest TNPSC Group 1 recruitment are 85. These 85 vacancies are distributed for DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police), Assistant Commissioner, District Employment Officer, and other posts. The list of posts that are opened in this notification is given below. The TNPSC Group I examination is going to be held in 2017. The applications forms of Group I exam is upload on the authorized website of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission i.e www.tnpsc.gov.in and will be available from November 2016. The registration dates will be notified through the official notification.
TNPSC Group 1 Notification 2016 -17
As per the notification of TNPSC Group I, in order to apply Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category – I) posts the applicants needs degree or diploma in criminology and forensic science and also the applicant must possess national award for physical efficiency, whereas for applying Assistant Commissioner (C.T.) the job seekers needs degree in commerce/law and for applying District Registrar post the job hunters need Post Graduate degree or diploma in related field. For applying DSP post it is essential for the applicants to possess physical qualification. For eligibility of DSP post the applicants must meet the prescribed physical qualification. The physical qualification is only applicable for Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category – I) post. The selections of all these posts are purely based on examination.
