According to official notification Chandigarh Police has scheduled constable written examination in the month of February 2016 -17 .The candidates who had applied for the posts can check and download the admit card which was released by the Chandigarh Police officially on the website http://ift.tt/1jfGDQB in the month of February 2016 -17. Candidates must require to bring Chandigarh Police constable admit card to appear the examination. No Candidate will be allowed without valid Chandigarh police constable Hall Ticket 2016 -17. The completed form will serve as “Admit Card” for the physical endurance and Measurement test (PE&MT) and no separate admit cards will be issued or sent to the candidates. Selection Procedure: Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test (PE&MT) will tentatively star in the month of February, 2016 -17 at Police Lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh and IRB Complex, Sarangpur followed by Written Test.
Exam Syllabus &Pattern: Candidates (including ex-servicemen), who qualify the PE&MT shall be put through a written test of one hour and forty-five minutes (105 min) duration which shall carry 100 marks. Questions will be given as multiple choice objective type and carries one mark for each question and Negative marking og 0.25 for every wrong answer and shall include questions on:
General Knowledge/Current Affairs – 50 marks
Reasoning -35 marks
Numerical Ability-15 marks
Question paper language: Hindi, English, Punjabi.
Steps/Process/How to Download the Admit Card/Exam Hall Ticket 2016 -17:
The completed form will serve as “Admit Card” for the physical endurance and Measurement test (PE&MT) and no separate admit cards will be issued or sent to the candidates. In case of lost, misplace or damaged PE&MT admit cards, a copy will be provided at the help desk on the day of the PE&MT on a nominal payment of RS. 50/- Those who qualify the PE&MT will be issued fresh admit cards for the written examination on the same day at the venue of the PE&MT itself.
